The United States is facing a liquid fuels crisis.

With international demand for oil growing rapidly and global production struggling to keep pace, high oil prices are here to stay.  More importantly, global oil production is forecasted to reach its peak between 2010 and 2030 -- some experts believe that this has already occured.  Once production has peaked, oil availalibility will be in terminal decline.

Currently, the world's transportation fleets are dependent on oil; and a result many daily necessities, including food, will also rise in cost.  CORE believes that it is imperative to address Peak Oil now and is working with these issues in the Roaring Fork Valley and at the State level.
