Cedric Gamble

Director of Climate Action Programs

Cedric brings a deep love of nature, adventure, and community to the CORE team. Growing up at a YMCA summer camp in the Adirondacks with parents who took the whole family on backpacking and canoeing trips fueled these passions from a young age. After earning an Environmental Science degree from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, Cedric promptly moved West to pursue a career in the outdoor industry. For 8 years Cedric worked variously as a ski patroller at Park City Mountain Resort, skiing and climbing mountain guide on Mt Rainier, in the North Cascades, Ouray, and Wasatch Mountains. Following the motivation to work more directly on renewable energy and climate change solutions, Cedric transitioned to working in the solar industry in 2018. While working as design engineer and project manager designing utility scale solar energy projects, Cedric completed a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Sustainable Systems Engineering. After earning this degree, Cedric pursued an opportunity in Salt Lake City providing energy modeling and energy efficiency advising for commercial buildings in Utah.

Cedric is thrilled to work with the CORE team to improve the efficiency of and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions from the built environment in the greater Roaring Fork area. In his role with CORE, Cedric is eager to apply his experience to empower the Program Team in the successful completion of projects and development of energy efficiency and rebate programs. He is motivated by building systems that improve health and drive climate change solutions for all members of the community. Cedric, his wife, 14 month old son, and two dogs are new to the Roaring Fork and excited to explore and put down roots in this special mountain community.
