This February: Opening our Doors and Raising the Bar
Last night, we hosted an open house at our newly renovated office in Basalt and were so energized by the turnout. Seeing our partners, supporters, and community members gathered together was a meaningful way to celebrate how we’ve grown. This new space gives our expanding team the room and resources to better serve our community and advance local climate solutions together.
At the event, we recognized Atlantic Aviation for renewing its generous challenge grant for 2026. This commitment increases the impact of every donation by 50%, helping your support go even further as we work to reduce emissions 20% more than we did in 2025.
Thank you for your continued support of CORE’s mission and the meaningful climate work happening across our region.
Sincerely,
CORE'S 2025 Impact Report
Last year, CORE provided $2.5 million in grants and rebates to support 213 home and business energy efficiency and electrification projects across Pitkin, Garfield, and Eagle Counties. Celebrating Our Renovated Basalt Office
After several months of construction, CORE's newly renovated Basalt office is officially open. Yesterday's open house brought familiar faces, new connections, and great conversations about CORE's ambitious plans for 2026. With office renovations complete, CORE is excited to be working with the building owners, Harry Teague Architects, and Basalt River Lofts HOA, to upgrade the building's mechanical system. With assistance from CORE and Holy Cross, the natural gas boilers that heat the building will be replaced with cold-climate air-to-water heat pumps to improve energy efficiency and indoor/outdoor air quality.

Own or Manage a Commercial or
Multifamily Building in Eagle County?
New in 2026, CORE's commercial and multifamily programming is now available throughout all of Eagle County, from Vail to Basalt. If you own, manage, or are a part of an HOA for a commercial property or a multifamily building with four or more units, you can access free energy assessments, expert energy advising, and up to $200,000 in grants and rebates for energy efficiency and electrification projects. Commercial and multifamily buildings have the potential to make the biggest impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reaching our climate action goals.

You Met the Match & It's Back for 2026

In 2025, Atlantic Aviation generously stepped forward with a $300,000 challenge grant, which inspired $600,000 in donations, for a total impact of $900,000 in philanthropic support for CORE. Given that success, Atlantic Aviation is renewing its commitment for 2026, and all donations to CORE this year will once again have a 1.5 multiplier.
"The community’s ability to meet our 2025 challenge grant speaks to the credibility that CORE carries and the value it delivers across the community. That success and our shared commitment made renewing Atlantic Aviation’s challenge grant for 2026 an easy decision. We are proud to continue this partnership and accelerate practical, on-the-ground climate action across the Roaring Fork Valley." – Jonathan Jones, General Manager, Atlantic Aviation
