Ofek Bruhis
Project Manager
Ofek brings a strong foundation in sustainability and engineering to his role as a project manager with CORE. Prior to joining the team, he spent three and a half years working as a sustainability engineer, contributing to projects focused on energy efficiency, sustainable materials, LEED certification, greenhouse gas accounting, and climate-resilient building strategies. His technical background includes energy/carbon modeling, custom tool development for water and waste tracking, and active involvement in national efforts around responsible material sourcing.
Ofek earned his degrees in architectural engineering and applied mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he also served as Head Engineer for the university’s Projects with Underserved Communities (PUC) program. There, he worked with a team to design a community center that served 78 families in rural India, an experience that shaped his passion for community-centered solutions.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Ofek moved to Colorado in 2021 after falling in love with the west during visits to spend time with family and friends. He’s an avid whitewater kayaker, one of four siblings (all now living in Colorado), and a volunteer goalie coach with Colorado Extreme, a nonprofit dedicated to youth development through hockey.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Ofek chasing river flows.
