In the News: Building Momentum Across Our Region
I shared in our recent Aspen Times feature that, “in the midst of a challenging year for climate work in general, we’re really grateful and inspired that we saw the success that we did and that we were able to inspire our community to look at what they can do to contribute to climate action.” In 2025, CORE supported more than 200 projects in local buildings and made meaningful reductions in carbon emissions across our region. What’s most encouraging is what this momentum represents. Each project is a commitment—by building owners, contractors, and partners—to practical, local solutions that will reshape our communities and create a better future.
This year, we are building on those commitments to accelerate our progress on impactful climate solutions. Atlantic Aviation’s continued partnership through its challenge grant and the contributions of all of our generous donors equip us with the resources to be responsive to the needs of our region, multiply the impact of local government funding, and enable CORE to expand to serve new communities.
Thank you for your continued support of CORE’s mission and for your role in the meaningful work happening across our region.
Sincerely,

A Better Way to Talk About Energy

The CORE Energy Messaging Toolkit is designed for local governments, community partners, and organizations working to communicate about building efficiency, electrification, and emissions reduction.
Clear, consistent messaging plays a critical role in how energy decisions are understood and adopted. This resource provides practical guidance for translating complex topics into communication that resonates with residents, businesses, and industry professionals.
For those shaping conversations around energy in the community, this toolkit offers a valuable starting point.
