A Home Energy Assessment identifies energy leaks and prioritizes upgrades to improve comfort, save energy, and reduce emissions. CORE’s Energy Concierge
helps you understand the results and explore funding.
Curious about the process? Our partners at Energy Smart Colorado walk you through what to expect in a three-minute illustrated video. Watch to see what an assessment could reveal about your home.

Building IQ Benchmarking Program: Influencing Change
Aspen’s Building IQ program is in Phase Two, with the City and CORE using building performance data to target funding and technical support to reduce emissions.
“Benchmarking helps building owners understand where they are today, while High-Performance Building Plans show them where they can go,” said Cedric Gamble, CORE’s Director of Climate Action Programs.

How Does Amendment 82 Affect Your Energy Choices?
A NO vote
keeps current laws and regulations in place. Communities, consumers, and programs like CORE’s can continue supporting clean energy choices through local processes.
A YES vote
would permanently establish a constitutional right for utilities and distributors to sell natural gas and for consumers to purchase it. This measure could undermine local climate action, restrict communities’ ability to transition to clean energy, and lock in continued reliance on fossil fuels.
